ANNEX A: Charter - COUNCIL ON YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
in NORTHERN ITALY
MANIFESTO
I, as an active member of the Council on Youth Leadership Development in Northern Italy embrace the following principles to be true and uphold these values as declaration of my loyal commitment to the goals and objectives of the council.

That the council exists only because of the gathering of its members, and my loyalty rests not on its personalities but on the advocacies and principles that it upholds;

That I place myself under and to be governed by the rules, regulations, and principles as set forth in the Charter of the Council;

That I will support and uphold all the decisions of the majority, even if personally, I am opposed to some or all of these, wherein I find myself belonging in the minority during the deliberations;

That after a decision is made by the majority, I shall forbid myself to speak against it in public nor to persuade others in private to demean or criticize it nor tolerate other members to do the same;

That I shall esteem other members of the council, though equals, higher than myself and shall work towards the protection of their personhood against unfounded and malicious attacks;

That in the event where I find myself in conflict with the principles of the council, I shall submit myself to the rule of the majority, and in case that the decision leads me to terminate my association with the council, I shall still forbid myself from criticizing and speaking against any of its members or decisions that I may become a shining example of integrity to the youth that I was called to serve;

That I shall affix my signature below this Manifesto to prove that all statements are my true and honest declaration of principles to maintain my membership with this council.
